FCC Enforcement Advisory
On April 8, 2019, the FCC issued an Enforcement Advisory warning manufacturers and retailers of internet streaming boxes that the devices must be properly authorized or certified and properly labelled in accordance with FCC regulations before being imported, advertised, or sold in the United States. According to the advisory, violators may be subject to fines of up to $19,639 per day.
